Psalm 23: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,for you are with me;your rod and your staff,they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;you anoint my head with oil;my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
How wonderful and awesome it is to know that we have a Mighty God who is our Shepherd looking after us. Our heavenly Father restores us, protects us and comforts us.
He provides for all our needs and keeps us from all harm. He anoints us with fresh oil. The blessings of the Lord overflows from within us.
We now have the confidence of dwelling in the Lord's house forever.

Praise God for our Heavenly Father who cares for us. We can cast our cares on Him, we can rest in Him. We can put our hope and our trust in Him. Because He loves us and He is able to stay close to us- to restore us to a place where we can find healing and strength.
Isaiah 41:10 'Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'
Praise God- It is truly good to know we have a God who cares for us and is always with us, we can rest and abide in His love. Amen!
Isaiah 40:18-31 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you.
For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one;he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help.
How god it is to know that in our times of trouble and great afflictions that God has not turned away from us. He listens and He makes a way for us, He may not come when we want Him to, but He is always on time.
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Psalm 116:2 Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!

I was raised Catholic and became a Christian last November. I truly believe it is a miracle of God that I was guided to this site today.
